Restore cab support, body alignment, and ride quality on your 1999-2003 Ford Super Duty with the Mishimoto Silicone Body Mount Kit for Regular Cab and Extended Cab trucks.

The original rubber body mounts on these trucks are now decades old in many applications. Years of towing, hauling, engine heat, weather exposure, road salt, and normal chassis movement can cause the factory rubber mounts to compress, crack, dry rot, and split.

As the body mounts deteriorate, the cab can begin to sag or shift relative to the frame and bed. Worn mounts can also allow additional noise, vibration, and harshness to transfer into the cab and surrounding vehicle components.

This complete 6-bushing silicone body mount kit replaces the aging factory rubber mounts with premium silicone bushings designed to maintain their flexibility and resilience over long-term use.

Mishimoto also includes dual-coated steel mounting cups and a complete Dacromet-coated hardware package, making this a comprehensive body mount replacement solution for your older Super Duty.

REPLACE WORN FACTORY SUPER DUTY BODY MOUNTS

Body mounts isolate the truck cab from the frame while still allowing controlled movement between the two structures.

Over time, original rubber mounts can:

  • Compress

  • Crack

  • Split

  • Dry rot

  • Harden

  • Lose their original shape

  • Lose their original mounting height

Once the mounts deteriorate, the cab may sit lower than intended or move excessively on the frame.

Common symptoms of worn Super Duty body mounts may include:

  • Excessive cab vibration

  • Increased road or drivetrain noise

  • Squeaks or clunks around the cab

  • Harsh ride quality

  • Visible deterioration of the rubber mounts

  • Cab sagging

  • Uneven cab-to-bed gaps

  • Poor body alignment

  • Increased cab movement relative to the frame

Replacing worn mounts can help restore the designed relationship between the cab and chassis while maintaining the isolation needed for a comfortable truck.

PREMIUM SILICONE CONSTRUCTION

Mishimoto uses premium silicone rather than traditional replacement rubber or harder urethane-style material.

The silicone construction is designed to remain flexible and resilient while resisting many of the problems that eventually affect factory rubber mounts.

The silicone bushings resist:

  • Dry rot

  • Cracking

  • Hardening

  • Permanent compression

  • Heat-related deterioration

  • Age-related degradation

Mishimoto also designed these mounts to avoid the dry squeaking that can develop with some urethane body mount materials.

HELPS RESTORE CAB HEIGHT & BODY ALIGNMENT

Factory body mounts can gradually compress under the weight of the cab.

As this occurs, the cab may begin to sit lower on the frame or shift enough to create uneven body lines between the cab and bed.

Fresh body mounts can help restore the cab closer to its intended mounting height and improve cab-to-bed alignment.

This is especially beneficial on older Super Duty trucks that have spent years towing, hauling, or operating under heavy-duty conditions.

REDUCES NOISE, VIBRATION & HARSHNESS

Body mounts play an important role in controlling the amount of chassis vibration transferred into the passenger compartment.

When factory mounts deteriorate, vibration can transfer more directly from the frame into the cab.

Fresh silicone mounts help isolate the cab from:

  • Chassis vibration

  • Road impacts

  • Drivetrain vibration

  • Frame movement

  • General road noise

This helps restore the function the original body mounts were designed to provide.

DUAL-COATED STEEL MOUNTING CUPS

Mishimoto includes steel mounting cups with two layers of corrosion protection.

Body mount components operate in an area routinely exposed to:

  • Water

  • Mud

  • Dirt

  • Road debris

  • Snow

  • Road salt

  • Humidity

The dual-coated steel construction is designed to provide improved corrosion resistance compared with untreated steel components.

This is especially valuable on 1999-2003 Super Duty trucks where the original mounting hardware may already show significant rust or deterioration.

COMPLETE DACROMET-COATED HARDWARE

The kit includes the necessary mounting bolts, nuts, and washers finished with Dacromet corrosion-resistant coating.

This allows the installation hardware to be replaced along with the body mounts rather than requiring reuse of heavily corroded or damaged factory fasteners.

The included Dacromet-coated hardware is designed to provide long-term corrosion resistance in demanding truck environments.

KEYED ANTI-ROTATION DESIGN

Mishimoto incorporates a keyed cap and cup-retainer system designed to prevent the upper and lower mounting cups from rotating during installation.

The cup retainer holds the mounting components in position while the bolt is installed and torqued from above.

This design helps simplify body mount installation and reduces the need to hold opposing hardware during tightening.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This kit does NOT fit Crew Cab trucks.

Crew Cab applications require Mishimoto's separate 8-bushing body mount kit.

Always verify cab configuration before ordering.

INSTALLATION

This kit is designed as a direct-fit replacement using the original factory body mount locations.

No drilling, cutting, or permanent vehicle modification is normally required.

Body mount replacement requires portions of the truck cab to be properly supported and raised from the frame.

Before installation, inspect the surrounding:

  • Cab mounting brackets

  • Frame mounting points

  • Body mount pockets

  • Sheet metal

  • Factory hardware

Older Super Duty trucks may have corrosion or structural damage around the original mounting locations that should be repaired before installing new body mounts.

Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with cab mount replacement procedures.
