Restore cab support, body alignment, and ride quality on your 1999-2003 Ford Super Duty Crew Cab with the Mishimoto Silicone Body Mount Kit.

The original rubber body mounts on older Super Duty trucks can compress, crack, dry rot, and deteriorate after years of towing, hauling, heat cycles, weather exposure, and normal chassis movement. Once the factory mounts break down, the cab can begin to sag or move excessively on the frame, contributing to increased vibration, squeaks, clunks, harshness, and poor cab-to-bed alignment.

This complete 8-bushing silicone body mount kit replaces the aging factory rubber mounts with durable silicone bushings engineered to maintain flexibility and isolation over long-term use.

Mishimoto also includes dual-coated steel mounting cups and a complete Dacromet-coated hardware package, making this an excellent complete replacement solution for an aging 1999-2003 Super Duty Crew Cab.

WHY REPLACE YOUR FACTORY SUPER DUTY BODY MOUNTS?

The cab mounts isolate the truck body from the frame while controlling movement between the two structures.

After decades of service, original rubber mounts may:

  • Compress

  • Crack

  • Split

  • Dry rot

  • Harden

  • Lose their original height

  • Allow increased cab movement

Common signs of worn body mounts may include:

  • Excessive cab vibration

  • Increased road or drivetrain noise

  • Squeaking or clunking around the cab

  • Harsh ride quality

  • Visible deterioration of the factory rubber mounts

  • Cab sagging

  • Uneven cab-to-bed gaps

  • Excessive cab movement on the chassis

Replacing worn mounts can help restore proper cab positioning while maintaining the isolation needed for a comfortable street-driven or work truck.

PREMIUM SILICONE CONSTRUCTION

Mishimoto uses premium silicone rather than conventional replacement rubber or harder urethane-style materials.

Silicone is designed to remain flexible and resilient while resisting many of the problems associated with aging factory rubber.

The silicone bushings resist:

  • Dry rot

  • Cracking

  • Hardening

  • Permanent compression

  • Heat-related deterioration

  • Age-related degradation

The material is also designed to avoid the dry squeaking that can develop with some urethane body mount materials.

HELPS RESTORE CAB HEIGHT & BODY ALIGNMENT

When original mounts compress, the cab can begin to sit lower on the frame and body lines between the cab and bed can become uneven.

Replacing worn mounts with properly sized silicone bushings can help restore the cab to its intended mounting height and bring body alignment back closer to factory specification.

This is especially important on older 1999-2003 Super Duty trucks that have spent years towing, hauling, or operating under heavy loads.

DUAL-COATED STEEL MOUNTING CUPS

Mishimoto includes steel mounting cups with two layers of corrosion protection.

Body mount hardware is exposed to harsh conditions including:

  • Water

  • Dirt

  • Mud

  • Road debris

  • Snow

  • Road salt

  • Humidity

The dual-coated steel construction is designed to improve corrosion resistance and help prevent the rust deterioration commonly found on older factory body mount assemblies.

COMPLETE DACROMET-COATED HARDWARE

The kit also includes the required mounting bolts, nuts, and washers finished with a Dacromet corrosion-resistant coating.

This allows the old hardware to be replaced along with the deteriorated body mounts rather than reusing rusted or damaged factory fasteners.

The Dacromet coating provides long-term corrosion resistance in demanding work-truck and road environments.

KEYED ANTI-ROTATION DESIGN

Mishimoto uses a keyed cap and cup-retainer design that helps prevent the upper and lower mounting components from rotating during installation.

The design holds the cups in position while the mounting bolt is installed and torqued, simplifying a job that can otherwise require holding hardware from multiple sides.

INSTALLATION

This kit is designed as a direct-fit replacement using the factory body mount locations.

No drilling, cutting, or permanent chassis modification is normally required.

Body mount replacement requires supporting and raising portions of the cab from the frame. Proper lifting equipment and safe vehicle-support procedures should always be used.

Due to the age of 1999-2003 Super Duty trucks, installers should also inspect surrounding cab mounts, brackets, frame mounting locations, and sheet metal for excessive corrosion or damage before installation.

Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with cab/body mount replacement procedures.
