Get a Bostech DE610255AE Gold Series Remanufactured Fuel Injector from XDP to replace the failed fuel injector on your Ford 7.3 Powerstroke. Bostech's Gold Series fully remanufactured injectors are a stock direct replacement to the OE. Using multi-point assembly check-points and testing to ensure maximum performance and fuel efficiency. All mating surfaces are lapped to a precision finish, and then assembled and tested to OE quality and performance. New seals and O-rings are also installed before packaging. Injectors sold individually.

'AB' Fuel Injector - 1997 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke (California Models) & 1999 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke (Early Models)
'AD' Fuel Injector - 1999.5-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke
'AE' Fuel Injector - 1999.5-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke (#8 Long Lead)
 
'AE' Fuel Injector Note (Cylinder # 8 Long Lead): 
For 1999.5-2003 Models use (1) 'AE' Long Lead Fuel Injector in cylinder # 8, along with with (7) 'AD' Fuel Injectors in cylinders # 1-7. 
The Long Lead Injector helps resolve the "cackle" or knock sound as described in Ford TSB 00-22-1. 
7.3L Powerstroke Engines after serial number 1311240 (Built 12/7/1998 & Later) were built with a long lead injector in cylinder # 8.
To verify if you have a long lead injector you can verify by looking for an "LL" stamp on top of the cylinder # 8 injector.
