Bostech DE505 Silver Series AE Remanufactured Fuel Injector

The Bostech DE505 Silver Series AE Remanufactured Fuel Injector is an OE-style replacement injector for your Ford 7.3L Powerstroke. Each injector is disassembled with each component being cleaned, inspected, and tested. Once each component has been certified the injectors are assembled in a clean room and multi-point tested before going into the final test machine that test for flow, spray pattern, and leaks as well as electrical timing.

'AE' Fuel Injector Note (Cylinder # 8 - Long Lead):
For 1999.5-2003 Models use (1) 'AE' Long Lead Fuel Injector in cylinder # 8, along with with (7) 'AD' Fuel Injectors in cylinders # 1-7.
The Long Lead Injector helps resolve the "cackle" or knock sound as described in Ford TSB 00-22-1.
7.3L Powerstroke Engines after serial number 1311240 were built with a long lead injector in cylinder # 8.
To verify if you have a long lead injector you can verify by looking for an "LL" stamp on top of the cylinder # 8 injector.
