The Apex Chassis KIT101K Extreme Duty Upper & Lower Knurled Ball Joint Kit is a high-quality replacement for the worn-out ball joints on your Dodge Ram 2500/3500. These greasable ball joints feature SAE 1045 solid steel forged knurled housings that are CNC-machined for precision and to eliminate any die wear issues. SAE 1045 induction heat-treated hot forged chromoly ball studs provide incredible strength while the polished surface acts as an anti-friction bearing with precise tolerances. The rolled threads on the ball studs are made by pressing the shape of the threads into the ball stud instead of cutting to strengthen the threads. These threads are also stepped to allow for the movement of hardware during installation and superior holding when torqued down.
