Why We Built an Open Air Intake

Many manufacturers advertise sealed air boxes as the only solution for performance.

After testing both styles ourselves, we came to a different conclusion.

Our testing showed that removing the restrictive enclosure around the filter allowed the turbocharger to pull air with less restriction. The truck felt more responsive, turbo spool improved, and the engine simply performed better.
