Recommended Maintenance
For engines receiving a coolant filter for the first time, SWAG Performance recommends replacing the filter:
- After approximately 500-1,000 miles
- Again after 3,000-5,000 miles
- Then every 12 months or during normal cooling system service
Initial filter changes often capture a significant amount of residual casting sand and debris left inside the engine from manufacturing.
