The SBI Performance Intake Valve 02014R is precision made specifically for the Dodge Ram trucks equipped with 5.9L/6.7L diesel Engines. Featuring a bimetallic design that uses specialized manufacturing processes to improve durability and performance compared to stock valves. Each valve is constructed with a premium-grade austenitic stainless steel valve head for exhaust (EV16) applications, providing excellent strength and heat resistance. A mid-stem weld joins the valve head to a high-grade, high-chromium steel stem (HNV3), combining superior heat tolerance at the valve head with increased stem strength and wear resistance. Every valve is fully machined, nitrided across the entire surface, and precision polished to enhance fatigue resistance, reduce friction, and extend service life. The valve tip is hardened to a minimum of 50 HRC, ensuring long-lasting durability under high valve train loads.
