The AFE 54-13016D Pro DRY S Stage 2 Magnum Force Cold Air Intake System offer 43% more airflow over the factory intake of your 2011-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax LML. This intake features an inlet tube & one-piece intake housing constructed from XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) and 9” oiled filter.

 

Featuring a 6" flange, this 9” tall 360-degree radial flow air filter is an oil-free Pro DRY S media with three layers of synthetic media for optimal convenience. This progressive layering delivers excellent dust holding capacity and filtration efficiency without the use of oil. This filter media is ideal for street use and the inverted top delivers a larger filter surface area for longer service intervals.

 

For optimal performance, the air filter is enclosed in an open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer airbox that prevents hot engine air from entering the engine. The open element design produces a powerful intake induction sound and allows for simple inspection of the air filter.

 

This intake system includes a dyno-tuned inlet tube that has been computer-designed for a precise fit and optimum power increases. This intake tube is made of XLPE material, which is very tough and heat resistant.

 

This intake system is a direct fit replacement that uses factory mounting points and requires no cutting or adjustments. The intake's filter-to-housing interface has a unique design that uses half the components of a typical cold air intake system. For a simple installation, all essential couplings, clamps, and hardware are supplied.
