The Banks Power 62781 Big Hoss Diesel Tuner delivers safe power to your 1998.5-2000 Dodge 5.9L Cummins. Without requiring a t-tap on the pump wire, the Big Hoss Tuner adds up to +70HP & +180 lb-ft of torque with airflow improvements. When a pyrometer is added, the Big Hoss Tuner is automatically enabled with a Temperature Limiting Control Feature to keep your EGT's in a safe range (pyrometer probe sold separately).
Featuring built-in torque converter clutch protection, when signal is delivered to lock the torque converter, additional fuel delivery is momentarily de-rated to eliminate clutch slippage. The Big Hoss Tuner incorporates a mission-critical safety-circuit design that functions as an engine and transmission watchdog. The built-in self-diagnostics ensure that the Big Hoss Tuner has no negative effects on the vehicles electronics.
