The GM 12676436 Water In Filter (WIF) Sensor for your 2012-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax is a genuine OEM replacement for the factory sensor. The WIF sensor threads into your factory fuel filter. Over time these sensors can strip, break or become damaged allowing air leaks which will cause hard starts and poor performance. To prevent damage to sensor during routine maintenance the use of a WIF Wrench is highly recommended.
