The batteries employ dry cell Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology to contain the acid. This allows the battery to be installed in almost any position, even on its side. For added durability the batteries also feature Robust Intercell Connections. This helps provide additional protection against the high impact shocks and vibrations that often cause premature battery failure
Odyssey batteries are manufactured using flat plates made out of 99.99% pure lead, not lead-alloy like lesser competitors.
