The Banks Power 66797 Banks Derringer Tuner With iDash DataMonster will add power while monitoring the engine in your 2020-2021 RAM 3.0L EcoDiesel.
This module offers more torque and power gains across the RPM range, starting from idle all the way to the shift points of your transmission. The Derringer is dyno tuned to use data inputs such as throttle position, coolant temperature, vehicle speed, AFR, RPM, and EGT just like ECM your engine uses. This continually optimizes the tunes in real-time due to its OBD-II connectivity, unlike it’s competitors.
The Derringer module offers 6 levels that can be adjusted on-the-fly using the DataMonster to deliver best-in-class performance. Level 3 is designed for work, such as hauling a fully loaded trailer to improve the on-ramp merging speeds and passing times.
The Derringer works with other Banks devices such as the PedalMonster throttle booster to enhance the throttle feel even further. This module is installed in line with your truck's engine sensors and plugs into the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic bus.
The ActiveSafety feature watches the overall health of the circuitry and monitors the engine and transmission. By analyzing the module’s health 100 times per second, the Derringer can immediately bypass itself if there is a problem. Once an issue is detected, the Derringer sets a device diagnostic code and returns the truck back to factory power. Also, the coolant temperature monitoring stops power being added when the engine is overheated or too cold. Safe power is easy with a Derringer; just choose your favorite power setting and enjoy the ride.
